Is my hire dedicated?
Absolutely! Your candidate will work exclusively for you unless otherwise requested. When you hire a VirtueStaff candidate, they're aiming for a permanent role in your company, and looking for long-term success.
Who manages my hired candidate?
You are responsible for onboarding, training, and day-to-day management of the candidate. VirtueStaff handles logistics such as payroll and international legal requirements. We also offer coaching and performance monitoring support if needed. If you're unsatisfied with your hire, we'll source a replacement at no additional cost, including a trial period for your new hire.
What is the contract length?
VirtueStaff offers month-to-month contracts for most services, with some exceptions for VirtueStaff Teams.
How much are candidates getting paid?
We ensure our candidates are compensated above industry standards, with included opportunities for raises and bonuses.
Can I give them a Raise or Bonus?
Absolutely! Once your hire is working full-time, you can give raises or bonuses as you see fit. Your hire will receive 100% of these, with no additional fees.
Part-time or Full-time? What are the minimum number of hours?
We require a minimum of 20 hours per week for all our services to ensure your hire remains dedicated to your account.
What hours/timezone will my candidate work?
Our candidates have experience working in U.S. time zones and are committed to continuing this. However, you can arrange for your candidate to work in any time zone that suits your needs.
Do I get to pick my Hire?
Yes, you will have the opportunity to interview and select the candidate that best fits your needs. This is an important part of the process to ensure they are a good fit for your company.
What if my Hire is not a good fit?
We offer a perfect fit guarantee. If you feel your hire isn't a good fit, we'll find you a replacement for free with a trial period included.
Is my VirtueStaff hire considered an employee? What about taxes?
Your hire is part of your team but remains an independent contractor with VirtueStaff. We handle payroll and legal details. You onboard, train, and manage them as you would with any internal hire. You can write off our service as an expense.
What about PTO & Time-Off
PTO and time-off policies are determined by you and your hire, ensuring flexibility and mutual agreement.
What is their fluency in English?
We have a rigorous selection process to ensure top talent. All candidates have prior remote work experience in English-speaking countries and excellent English proficiency. Higher-tier candidates have native-level English skills.

Yes, we source talent globally and can find bilingual virtual candidates to meet your specific needs.
